Florida CB Teez Tabor declares for 2017 NFL Draft

One of the top cornerbacks in college football made the expected announcement that he is set to forgo his final year of eligibility to go pro.
On Thursday, Florida’s Teez Tabor penned an article for The Players Tribune to announce he will be entering the 2017 NFL Draft. Tabor is a projected first-round pick in April’s draft.
“I write to you today to say that I’m ready to begin the next chapter in my life. I have decided to forgo my senior year and declare for the NFL draft. But I cannot say goodbye without first saying thank you. I am forever grateful for the University of Florida and every member of the amazing Gator community,” Tabor wrote.
“We spent some pretty incredible years together, didn’t we?”
In 2016, Tabor recorded 33 tackles and four interceptions, while leading the team with six passes defensed.
Tabor is one of the top cornerbacks in the Class of 2017, so he should not be waiting long before his name is called in Philadelphia.
