NCAA Tournament Final 2016: Where to watch, tip time, and announcer pairing

It seems like just yesterday that we had 68 teams vying for the national championship this year and we are now down to two. The North Carolina Tar Heels and Villanova Wildcats will meet up tonight to decide the national champion in the NCAA Tournament final.

Most eyes will be locked on television sets late tonight as the two perennial powerhouses meet up in the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2013. The last time the Tar Heels won the national title, they took down the Wildcats in the Final Four way back in 2009.

The game is on pretty late tonight, but if you want to tune into the fun, the coverage of the game will begin with the Capital One National Championship Pregame Show on TBS at 7 p.m. EST.

The actual game is scheduled for a 9:19 p.m. EST tipoff on TBS. This year’s game will feature team-exclusive broadcasts hosted by Bleacher Report’s TeamStream with the Villanova broadcast on truTV and the North Carolina broadcast on TNT.

The regular broadcast of the game will begin at 9 p.m. EST on TBS with Jim Nantz, Bill Raftery, and Grant Hill calling the action with reporter Tracy Wolfson working the sidelines.

It should be a fun night for everyone as fans will find out if the ACC will take home a second straight national title or if the Wildcats will bring it home to the Big East for the first time since 2013 and back to Villanova for the first time since 1985.
