Two of the quirkier individuals in the world are Kentucky coach John Calipari and rap star Kanye West. Calipari gets really intense when talking about his players and basketball in general and Kanye West is…well, Kanye West, and both men have their fair share of interesting quotes.
Thus, when Kentucky Sports Television interviewed some Kentucky players, read them quotes and asked them to identify them as said by Calipari or West, things got interesting.

Some players absolutely blazed through the quiz, namely Kentucky lifer Alex Poythress. Others, however, like freshman Skal Labissiere, did not fare so well.
It just goes to show that when words are read off a page by a random person, it’s hard to identify just who actually said them. Unless these players watch their coach’s press conferences and interviews regularly, it’s no wonder that some would confuse his words with Kanye West’s, especially if crack cocaine is involved.
Kentucky takes on Indiana tonight for a spot in the Sweet Sixteen. Tip-off is slated for 5:15 p.m. ET on CBS, so be sure to tune in!
