Video: Georges Niang addresses home crowd on Senior Night

Iowa State forward Georges Niang is one of the most recognizable faces in college basketball today and he is one of the biggest reasons why there has been a resurgence in basketball for the Cyclones. He played his final game in Aames Monday night and it was a pretty emotional night.

The Cyclones pulled out a big win over the Oklahoma State Cowboys and after the game, Niang addressed the crowd. He got choked up talking to them, especially when he said he has “a home forever in Aames.”

Niang is one of the best players in history for the Cyclones and they certainly have a great future for basketball because of him. He will likely go on to the NBA after this season, but he will help his team go for their third straight Big 12 tournament championship.

It has been a fun ride for Niang, but he has just a few more miles to go before his journey with the Cyclones is done.
