2015-2016 NBA schedule released

The 2015-2016 NBA schedule came out Wednesday, giving basketball fans another thing to eagerly talk about it until opening day, October 17th.

There will be many opportunities to see your favorite team this year, as networks such as ESPN, ABC, and TNT will be broadcasting 143 games on national TV. As you would expect, the reigning champion Golden State Warriors and Eastern Conference Champion Cleveland Cavaliers have the most national TV appearances this year, with 25 each.

It will tough sledding for Detroit Pistons, Denver Nuggets, and Philly 76ers fans as they have zero national TV appearances scheduled.

There are a few games you should be looking forward to, as well:

  • Bulls vs. Cavs, 8 PM on Opening Night, Oct. 27

A rematch of 2015 Eastern Conference semifinals.

  • Cavs vs. Warriors, 5 PM Christmas Day

Two goliaths collide once again as a rematch of the 2015 NBA Finals. A healthy Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving should be excited to get another shot at the champs. (Love dislocated his shoulder in a scuffle with Celtics PF Kelly Olynyk in the first round of the playoffs and Irving suffered a fractured kneecap in a later series).
