The opening of fall training camp usually coincides with the start of the school year for a lot of elementary-aged kids. That didn’t seem to be the case for a group of young Miami fans who had the opportunity to spend the day with the team’s mascot on Thursday afternoon.
College Spun shared a video of Miami’s mascot, Sebastian, teaching the group of kids how to the “Whip Dance” popularized by Silento. I don’t think there is anything better than watching somebody in a giant duck costume teaching 200 hundred kids how to do a popular dance move.
Who better to teach my boys how to 'Whip and Nae Nae' than @MiamiHurricanes @UM_Sebastian #TheU pic.twitter.com/pVZfzh4Ui1

These kids will surely be able to remember this for years to come. I think it’s hard to say the Hurricanes didn’t just gain a whole bunch of fans for the future.
The Hurricanes will be “nae nae”-ing their way onto the field on September 5 when they host Bethune-Cookman.
