UGA WR Justin Scott-Wesley hurts knee at practice

Georgia wide receiver Justin Scott-Wesley hasn’t had the best of starts to his college career. In the 2013 season, he tore his ACL that put him out for the rest of the season. The injury kept him from producing last season as much as the team would have hoped.

Scott-Wesley had arthoscopic knee surgery in July and was able to return to the team on August 4 in time for preseason practices. According to Dawg Nation, Scott-Wesley left practice on Monday with a right knee injury. This is certainly a big concern for the Bulldogs considering his history.

The severity of the injury was not revealed, but it is worth noting that Scott-Wesley did walk off the field on his own power. It looks like Scott-Wesley could miss some time going into the season, which means that the Bulldogs could be without a big piece to their receiving corps.

The Bulldogs open the season on September 5 when they host Louisiana-Monroe.
