Top Rated Recruit Josh Sweat Injured

Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, Virginia) defensive end Josh Sweat was carted off the field during the Tigers’ 56-14 win over Western Branch high school.

Reports say Sweat suffered a dislocated knee cap and is out indefinitely. He will undergo an MRI to see if he suffered any structural damage.

Sweat is one of the most sought-after recruits in the country. He is the No. 1 overall player according to 247sports.com and No. 5 overall according to Rivals.com.

The talented lineman is expected to choose between Virginia Tech, Florida State, Ohio State, and Georgia.

Hopefully he did not suffer any further damage and will be on the field soon.
