Syracuse WR Steve Ishmael gets misspelled jersey

During spring ball, there is a bit of a learning curve for everyone. Not only are the young players on every team’s roster trying to prove their worth to the coaching staff and show that they below, but players are getting used to uniforms and equipment.

The equipment staff is also in spring ball and could some very simple mistakes.

Case and point: the Syracuse Orange.

During Syracuse’s spring scrimmage over the weekend, returning leading wide receiver Steve Ishmael received he jersey. Not long after, someone on the sidelines noticed Ishmael’s last name was smilled in a very bizarre way; the wrong way.

Last year, Steve Ishmael racked up 415 yards and a team-high three yard touchdowns.
