Former Missouri Tigers standout Shane Ray is one of the best defenders available in the 2015 NFL Draft class. However, in recent days there has been some growing concern about his health.
Ray suffered a toe injury that had some people reporting his draft stock could take a drastic hit.
That doesn’t seem to be the case anymore, however, with news that he will be able to avoid surgery and rehab his injury with rest.
From Ian Rapoport of NFL.com:
#Mizzou DE Shane Ray saw a foot specialist today. Source said doc’s recommendation was not surgery. Big news for potential 1st rounder.
