Carson Wentz will start tomorrow vs. Weber State

The North Dakota State football team received some great news today. According to Jeff Kolpack of inforum.com, starting quarterback Carson Wentz is planning to play this Saturday after missing practice all week.

Bison head coach Chris Klieman said “The plan is to play him right now”.

Wentz suffered a sprained ankle in the seasonn opener two weeks ago against Montana. Klieman said his senior moved around pretty well on Wednesday.

North Dakota State came into the season ranked number one in the FCS. They lost to Montana in a heartbreaker to open the year after they scored a touchdown with just two seconds remaining in the game.

The Bison take on Weber State this Saturday. If Wentz suffers any setbacks, redshirt freshman Easton Stick would get the nod.
