Kenny Hill Named Starting QB For Texas A&M

Texas A&M head coach Kevin Sumlin has announced the successor to Johnny Manziel.

Meet sophomore Kenny Hill.

Hill beat out true freshman Kyle Allen for the starting position in what seemed like a close battle. Sumlin won’t have to change much of the offense for the sophomore; Hill ran a similar offense in high school at Southlake Carrol en route to the Texas Class 5A state championship his junior year.

Last season, Hill completed 16 of 22 passes for 183 yards and a touchdown.

Texas A&M faces off against No. 9 ranked South Carolina on August 28.
