Bryce Dixon no longer enrolled at USC

The USC Trojans have lost some tight end depth, with news that their most talented tight end, Bryce Dixon, is no longer enrolled at the university.

USC confirmed the news in a brief statement on their official website.

“Freshman tight end Bryce Dixon is no longer enrolled at the University of Southern California, the school announced today,” the statement read. “Dixon caught 14 passes for 198 yards and 4 touchdowns in 2014.”

There is some belief that a student conduct issue involving another student may have led to his dismissal.

Without Dixon on the roster, the Trojans are left with walk-on Connor Spears and 2015 four-star recruit Tyler Petite. USC could also have Jalen Cope-Fitzpatrick, but his status for the season is unknown after being ruled academically ineligible for all of 2014.
