Auburn Tigers quarterback Jeremy Johnson’s tenure under center could soon be coming to an end if certain rumors are true. Per Jon Solomon of CBS Sports, the coaching staff is unsatisfied with Johnson’s performance and Gus Malzahn went so far as to call the passing game “God awful” and that he would consider a quarterback change at halftime of today’s game at LSU.
Gus Malzhan on CBS: "Right now our passing game is God awful." Gus says he'll talk at halftime about possible QB change.

Allie LaForce: Rhett Lashlee took glove off Jeremy Johnson's hand, threw it behind bench & told him he doesn't need a glove, it's mental.

LSU is currently up 31-7, and Johnson has yet to be taken out of the game. Though he did run 65 yards for a touchdown earlier, he has completed just 6 of 13 pass attempts for 36 yards and an interception. That gives him 409 yards, three touchdowns and six interceptions on the season.
That said, with Auburn staring the prospect of falling out of the Top 25 dead in the face and little movement on offense with Johnson at quarterback, don’t be surprised if freshman Sean White takes over for the remainder of the game.
