ASU QB Taylor Kelly Ruled Out Against UCLA

The whispers surrounding injured Arizona State quarterback Taylor Kelly have proven true, as he will miss Saturday’s game against UCLA.  Kelly sustained an injury to his foot during this past weekend’s 38-24 victory over Colorado and was seen walking off the field on crutches and in a protective boot.   The team still maintains confidence in his status moving forward.

The Sun Devils will be without their leader and senior quarterback for a huge conference matchup with the (12) Bruins.  Coach Todd Graham will turn to fellow senior quarterback Mike Bercovici and will not update the press about Kelly until Saturday’s game is over.

Over his three years as starter, Kelly has become the program’s all-time leader in completion percentage and through three games this season has thrown for 625 yards and six touchdowns.  It’s no question Kelly will be missed in the Sun Devils offense, but the better question remains how will Bercovici perform in his stead?
